DANCE CLASSES Our dance classes are centered around offering dancers of all ages and abilities a chance to learn different styles of dance with an emphasis on safe and correct technique. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment that allows all participants an equal opportunity to grow and learn both artistically and physically, while having fun! Class age categories may be overridden at the discretion of the instruction and Recreation Supervisor.

PRE-BALLET I Young dancers will begin to learn the basics of dance and ballet in a fun and engaging environment! Dancers will become familiar with beginning ballet terminology and position while working on following directions, coordination and body awareness. No class Oct. 5, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7. BALLET During ballet, dancers will learn the classical techniques of ballet including terminology and positions. Dancers build upon the fundamentals through barre work, center work, and both adagio and allegro combinations across the floor. Emphasis is placed on posture, strength and flexibility.
