NATURE AT NIGHT HIKES Discover a new world of mysteries during a hike in the nighttime forest! We’ll explore seasonal changes, nocturnal critters, fascinating phenomena, and learn about a special featured creature while we trek through the woods. To top off the evening, we’ll settle around the campfire for some delicious s’mores! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please register everyone attending. Join us at Lyman Woods to meet and greet our nature center’s special residents. Help feed our animal friends and learn about turtles, snakes, lizards and more! Please sign up in advance and enroll all family members attending. Children under 2 years old are free. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Join our naturalist on a guided hike on and off trail at Lyman Woods to learn about wild edible plants found season to season, safety precautions, local rules, and even how to grow some easy ones at home! Finally, we’ll head over to our native orchard and gardens to check out some of our wild herbs, spices and fruits and make some simple wild dishes to try. Please register everyone attending.
