RAGTRIVETS NEW! Looking for something to do with all those lonely socks left over after the dryer has eaten their companion? We all have that bag of lonely socks, somehow hoping their mate will reappear from the ether, but do they? Almost never. Repurpose these lonely socks by turning them into a useful trivet for your kitchen. This same technique can be used for making larger projects such as rugs or decorative wall art.

PRETZEL LOGCABINS NEW! Learn about the history of our local log cabins by taking a walk with us to the footprint of where the Blodgett’s original log cabin rested. Then head to the Montrew Dunham History Center to create your own mini log cabin, from pretzels, frosting, crackers and candy. Price is per child. Children may be exposed to allergens.

SEARSANDHISTORICHOMES WALKINGTOUR NEW! In the early 20th century numerous Downers Grove residents purchased homes straight out of mail- order catalogs. Take a 60-minute narrated walking tour with our museum staff as we discuss these Sears homes and other unique historic homes. Some parts of this walking tour may not be ADA accessible.
