KIDS NINJAWARRIOR Welcome to Ultimate Ninjas! Working off an integrated curriculum, this class is appropriate for beginners and advanced participants. Each class is structured to provide progressive growth over the course of the session, and each set of obstacles and circuits are aimed at providing a foundation of strength, agility and balance. These classes are very active. Participants will not stop moving and leave both gassed and proud! Our mission is to strive to have all achieve and be fulfilled and grow in perseverance, athleticism and confidence—and have fun doing it! This class takes place at Ultimate Ninjas located at 684 W. CHESS SCHOLARS Develop your child’s intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance children’s motivation, concentration, focus, social skills and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. This class will take place at Darien Park District Community Center located at 7301 Fairview Ave., Darien. No class July 4.
