BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES Butterflies are some of the coolest insects out there! Join us as we play some games, do some crafts, and go on a butterfly hunt in the preserve! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please register everyone attending. We’ll go off trail at Lyman Woods to get hands-on experience using archaeological tools and techniques to excavate the ruins of early 20th Century buildings around the preserve. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please register everyone attending. Help us celebrate America’s homegrown brand of fun folk music: the jug band! We’ll learn the history of jug bands and other folk music traditions, make some simple hand-crafted instruments that you can later take home, then sing and play away, all while enjoying some tasty snacks! EARLY CHILDHOOD DINOSAURADVENTURES This summer we invite you on epic dinosaur adventures! Each class we will read a dinosaur-themed story, play dinosaur games, and learn a new skill! Come prepared to have fun and be outside. Fee is per child; an adult must accompany their child(ren) during this program. Infant siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend, but do not need to register. Stories by Jane Yolen, Sierra Barela, Jonathan Stutzman, and Linda Bailey.
