NFL FLAG FOOTBALL COMBINE DAY Kick off the Fall Flag Football season and test your skills at the Downers Grove Park District’s Flag Football Combine Day! Players will run through different drills and test their skills, just like the pros! Fall Youth Flag Football league participants enrolled by the July 7 registration deadline will receive a $10 discount on the registration fee for Combine Day. Combine Day registration begins July 7 and ends August 1.

TINY TOTS TRACK MEET

Calling all future Olympians! Come test your speed and athleticism in this fun track meet. Organized by age, tots will participate in a variety of running events and field events. Open to any athlete ages 3 to 6. All track athletes are winners and will receive prizes! Price is per person. Register by August 14. Celebrate the vibrant threads that make up our community at TAPESTRY, a lively afternoon of music, culture, and connection! Enjoy free live performances from talented artists, interactive cultural activities, delicious global cuisine, and booths from local community groups that showcase the richness of our diverse traditions and stories. Bring your appetite, your curiosity, and your dancing shoes—it’s a celebration you won’t want to miss! We’re currently seeking local cultural groups interested in performing, hosting a booth, or sharing their traditions at Tapestry. The online interest form is available at dgparks.org/tapestry. NEW! Grab your flip flops and head to McCollum Park for our end-of-summer beach bash! This outdoor event is bursting with island vibes and tropical tunes. Splash through the ultimate foam party, enjoy beach games and create sunny crafts before it’s time to hit the books. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to summer with your friends and family. Don’t forget a towel, water shoes, and your best beachwear! Registration is per child; adults are free but must supervise their children.
