CREATIVE WRITING Once upon a time, there was a kid who loved telling stories and expressing themself through writing. If this sounds like your kid, this class is for them! Each time we meet, we’ll learn about a literary device and put it into practice through fun writing prompts (notebook provided). No one will be stuck at a desk the whole time; we’ll move around the room and find new ways to get into the flow. Participants can share their writing with the group if they want to, but no pressure. This class is all about exploring what’s possible on the page! Fee includes instruction, a notebook, and art supplies to use during class. Join us for a laid-back, fun-filled event where teens can chill, get creative and start mapping out their future! In just one session, you’ll design your very own vision board to help visualize your dreams and goals. It’s a great way to reflect on what matters most to you and get inspired to take the next step toward your future— whether it’s about school, passions, or just figuring out where you want to go. Focus on rescue techniques for full arrest victims from newborn to 12 years of age. The course also covers conscious and unconscious choking, rescue breathing and AED use. A qualified instructor will guide the participants in hands-on learning through games, movement, creative writing, problem-solving exercises and journaling.
