HONORING OUR HEROES: A VETERANS DAY BRUNCH AND POP-UP EXHIBIT NEW! Join us at the Lincoln Center to honor our veterans with a special Veterans Day brunch and pop-up exhibit on our local military history and veterans. Please feel free to bring any mementos to add to our temporary exhibit and to celebrate during brunch. Drop in anytime between 10:30am and 12:30pm to enjoy brunch and check out the exhibit. Brunch is free to veterans. Veterans and their plus one should email museum@dgparks.org to RSVP and to provide proof of service such as military or VA card, etc. Please sign up all others attending online. All children 4 and older must be registered with a registered adult. Children under 4 are welcome with a registered adult. Stroll through festive trick-or-treat stations stocked with goodies from local businesses, then check out fire trucks, construction vehicles, and more at our hands on Touch-A-Truck experience. Whether it’s the sweets, the sirens, or the spooky fun—there’s something every kid will love. No registration is required! Age: 0-12 Fee: Free Location: McCollum Park Date Day Time 10/18 SA 10:00am-12:00pm BLODGETT HOUSE BOO FEST FREE! Trick-or-treat at the Downers Grove Museum! Visit the Victorian Blodgett House decorated for Halloween, complete a holiday themed scavenger hunt and play some spooky themed Halloween games.
