We’ll engage in fun activities and games relating to some of the more well-known stories and learn a few differences between the stories told over 100 years ago to children and the ones still told today. If so, join us this week at the Downers Grove Museum and Lyman Woods to try your hands as real archaeologists. Monday and Tuesday drop off and pick-up are at the museum. Learn to read music and play tunes! Brought to you by AES and The Music Path Company, this amazing program teaches young students the beginnings of music! Students use tablets or devices to learn and play familiar tunes in a group setting through color, letter, and note matching. This approach incorporates problem-solving strategies while ensuring no essential musical knowledge is overlooked—no shortcuts are taken when it comes to playing and reading music. Prepare your student to take any instrument by giving them a solid musical foundation with this exciting program! An iPad/Tablet device is required.
