TINY TOTS TRACK MEET Calling all future Olympians! Come test your speed and athleticism in this fun track meet. Organized by age, tots will participate in a variety of running events and field events. Open to any athlete ages 3 to 6. All track athletes are winners and will receive prizes! Price is per person. Register by August 14. This relaxing and festive event offers a chance to enjoy the season’s last warm days in a welcoming, laid-back setting. Bring your favorite lawn chair if you’d like! Pre-registration is required. NATIONAL MOTH WEEK JULY 25-26 SEE DETAILS ON PAGE 89! Set your imagination a-flutter for this year’s National Moth Week! This world-wide celebration engages people with citizen science projects, special speakers and fun activities that bring to light all the marvelous things that make these nighttime creatures not only vital to our ecosystems, but also downright fascinating. Lyman Woods will host several programs (descriptions below) for children and adults to illuminate some of the most interesting facets and facts of the nearly 2,000 species of moths that call Illinois home!
