ICE SKATING

Seven Bridges Ice Arena has the basic philosophy that anyone can learn to ice skate if they try their best. All ice skating programs feature experienced instructors and free practice time. For practice times and additional information, please contact Seven Bridges at 630.271.4400.

PROGRAM INFORMATION Makeup classes are allowed but must be made up in the same session. No make-ups will be allowed in another session. All classes are non-refundable. Gloves/Mittens, helmets are recommended. Skate rentals are $4 each or 11 rentals for $40. Classes that don’t meet the minimum number of participants may be combined or cancelled. PARENT/TOT (AGES 2- 5) This class is for children ages 2 to 5 with no previous formal instruction, and a parent to skate with them. TOTS (AGES 4-5) This class is for children ages 4 to 5 who have had no formal instruction. The skaters will learn coordination, balance and agility in a fun atmosphere. BASIC (AGES 6-12) This class is for children ages 6 to 12 who have had no formal instruction. The skaters will learn forward move ment, gliding, swizzles, backward movement and begin ning stops. TEEN/ADULT (AGES 13+) This class is for ages 13 and older. It will tailor to the indi vidual needs of the skater. LITTLE HOCKEY (AGES 3-5) This class is for children ages 3 to 5 who have had no formal instruction. The skaters will learn coordination, balance and agility in a fun atmosphere while introducing them to the world of hockey. Hockey skates and hockey helmet is required. (Hockey skates can be rented at the ice rink). BEGINNER HOCKEY (AGES 6 - 12) This class is for children ages 6 to 12 who have had no formal instruction. The skaters will learn forward movement, gliding, swizzles, backward movement and beginning stops while in hockey skates. Full equipment is not required. Helmet and hockey skates are required. (Hockey skates can be rented at the ice rink).
