MALL CRAWL Beat the summer heat with our Mall Crawl, a fun-filled outing that combines shopping, socializing, and staying cool indoors! This trip takes you to Fox Valley Mall, where you can explore a variety of stores and discover new products. We’ll also have time to relax with lunch at the food court. Whether you’re on the hunt for a new outfit or simply window shopping, this Mall Crawl is sure to be a good time. Registration covers the cost of transportation. Lunch cost as well as any purchases made at stores is on your own. Enjoy a guided tour of this Old-World neighborhood, which will fascinate you with its beautiful churches, shops, and restaurants. The Ukrainian National Museum features an amazing collection of folk arts: costumes, musical instruments, artwork and the famous decorated Easter eggs that are a staple of Ukrainian folk art. Afterward, visit one of the neighborhood's majestic European-style churches. For lunch, we will travel a short distance to downtown Chicago for a spectacular meal at the Ukrainian-owned Russian Tea Time Restaurant in an elegant and intimate atmosphere. Trips BUTTERFLY SUPPER CLUB Step back in time at The Butterfly Club in Beloit, as we enjoy dinner at one of Wisconsin’s famous supper clubs! Named for the yellow and white butterflies in an adjacent field, the restaurant’s rich history dates back to 1924. Before our supper club experience, we’ll tour Historic Auto Attractions. The name of this hidden gem is a misnomer: the museum boasts of one of the Midwest’s greatest private collections of all sorts of collectibles. Among the exhibits are one of the most extensive collections of John F. Kennedy & Kennedy Family artifacts & memorabilia in the country. Please note: The included meal is a dinner scheduled at 4pm. We will make a stop at the Belvidere Oasis around 12:15pm. Participants can choose to have lunch here at one of the many eateries on their own, but this is not included in the price.
