Boxing Essentials + Life can be stressful. Come to a class to help relieve stress, learn to hit and get fit! Hitting the boxing pads relieves stress, burns calories, and builds muscle endurance. When you hit the boxing pads, it releases endorphins, and you will leave each session feeling focused, relaxed, and amazing! Learn techniques such as Muay Thai, boxing, kick boxing, Salate, Savat and more. This program is not eligible for a Fitness Member rate.

NeuroFIT Workshops This workshop series is designed for individuals with Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative diseases who want to exercise safely and effectively, but anyone interested in improving strength, balance, and mobility is welcome. The session will focus on improving mobility through strengthening exercises with an emphasis on posture, breathing, balance, and rhythmic movement. Participants will learn safe techniques for both seated and standing exercises and will be introduced to a variety of equipment, to help improve strength and range of motion. Participants will also gain guidance on how to confidently use fitness center equipment and incorporate appropriate exercises into their routine. Please be prepared to answer questions regarding ability and limitations when registering. 4500 Fitness Members who hold an active membership will receive a discounted fee when added to the cart. It’s scientifically proven that regular Tai Chi practice can help to improve balance, coordination and prevent falls and health problems in older adults. It is not only for older adults—anyone can benefit from this practice. Tai Chi is the most growing practice around the world and is therapeutic exercise for many chronic health conditions. This program will focus on the basics of Tai Chi Form. This is an excellent introduction to Tai Chi, suitable for beginners. We will practice Qigong meditation in the beginning of each class to relax. We will then focus on Tai Chi Form, step by step. This program is not eligible for a Fitness Member rate.

Fitness for Pickleball Workshop Looking to improve your performance on the pickleball court? This workshop focuses on fitness training designed specifically for pickleball players of all levels— no advanced skills required. Build strength, endurance, agility, flexibility, and balance through targeted exercises that support your movement and help reduce the risk of common injuries. We’ll incorporate light drills and play to apply what you’re working on in a fun, active setting. This is not an instructional pickleball class, but a fitness-based workout to help you feel stronger and more confident on the court.
