Merry & Bright: a Victorian Christmas Free! Get in the holiday spirit here at the Downers Grove Museum! We invite you and your whole family to learn about Victorian Christmas Traditions, tour the holiday decorated Victorian Blodgett House, and visit with Santa. Stoll the park on a luminary walk, view holiday trees decorated by the community and warm up around a campfire as you listen to Victorian-era carolers. Whoville Holiday Bash

Step into the magic of Whoville this holiday season! Families are invited to enjoy a whimsical morning filled with Grinchy games, festive crafts, holiday treats, and special photo-ops with both the Grinch and Santa Claus! Meet Cindy Lou Who, design Who-themed keepsakes that may just make your heart grow three sizes. This open-house-style event allows guests to move through activities at their own pace. An adult must accompany each child. Registration is per child; limit two adults per family. Some activities include food - participants with allergies may be exposed to allergens. Children under 2.5 years of age are free to attend with a registered family member, but please note that activities may be geared towards older participants. New Year’s Eve Countdown to Noon

Celebrate the new year—no late night required! Join us for a fun-filled morning featuring a DJ, bounce houses, photo booth, and a variety of activities. We’ll wrap it all up with a festive countdown to noon to ring in the new year together! Parents must stay and supervise their children. Siblings under age two may attend free with a paid child.
