Nature at Night Hikes Discover a new world of mysteries during a hike in the nighttime forest! We’ll explore seasonal changes, nocturnal critters, fascinating phenomena, and learn about a special featured creature while we trek through the woods. To top off the evening, we’ll settle around the campfire for some delicious s’mores! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please register everyone attending. Our Outdoor Program Goal To help foster an immersive experience that nurtures a deep appreciation for nature, our nature programs, unless otherwise noted, take place at least partially (and often entirely) outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, programs will be moved inside depending on available space. Always dress in appropriate clothing and shoe wear to participate in outside conditions, which may include light rain, snow, mud, bugs, extreme heat, extreme cold and other outdoor variables. Please reach out to the William F. Sherman Jr. Interpretive Center, the nature center at Lyman Woods, for any questions.
