For Adults From the DGM to the DGPL: Navigating the Recorder's Office New! Interested in doing more research about your family history, your historic home, or about general local history? Join the Downers Grove Museum and the Downers Grove Public Library at the DuPage County Recorder’s Office (421 N. County Farm Rd.) for a guided introduction to researching their books and computers. We’ll give a 1-hour introduction and guided research hour to participants. Staff will remain available to assist anyone interested in conducting research who would like support. Downtown Downers After Dark Have you ever wondered if there were any ghastly moments in the history of our little village? Step into the night for a 1-hour Downtown Downers Walking Tour and discover some of the town’s most grim and mysterious moments. Parts of the program are not ADA accessible. Historic Cocktail Tasting at Belmont This historic cocktail tasting will span five decades of popular cocktails you may not have heard of from the 1910s-1950s. During this program, learn facts about each cocktail and its time period, enjoy tasting and making each drink, and savor tasty snacks.
