Preschool Programs

Preschool begins Sept. 8 & 9, 2026 and ends May 13 & 14, 2027

Open Enrollment RESIDENT Open Enrollment began on Feb. 10

Tuition Tuition can either be paid in full or divided into 8 equal payments to be automatically billed on the 15th of the month, from August to April (no bill collected in December). You will be emailed in July with additional information. Families residing outside of Park District boundaries, but within Downers Grove School District 58 boundaries, will receive the resident rate for Preschool and may register during resident open enrollment. If you currently live outside of Downers Grove Park District or School District 58 boundaries but expect to move within Park District boundaries by Sept. 1, 2026, proof of residency will be required prior to your first preschool tuition payment.

NON-RESIDENT Open Enrollment began on Feb. 17 Enroll online at dgparks.org using the number corresponding to your desired class days and time. Pay a non-refundable $155 enrollment fee to complete the process. If your preferred class days/time is full, you may enroll your child on the waitlist. An enrollment fee must be paid for waitlist registrations. If you are offered a spot in the program your enrollment fee becomes non-refundable.

Potty Training 3- to 5-year-old students must be bathroom

independent by the beginning of the school year. Diapers/training pants (Pull-Ups) are allowed for 2-year old students only, but please note that staff cannot change soiled diapers/training pants; a parent/trusted adult must be available if needed.

Looking to extend your

preschooler’s week? Students may enroll in both a Lincoln Learning Center class AND a NaturePlay School class (e.g., Lincoln Learning Center M/W/F and NaturePlay School TU/TH). Both programs offer enrichment, extension programs, and single-day Add-on Classes. Students may not enroll in more than one section of the same program (e.g., M/W/F and TU/TH 4/5-year old Lincoln Learning Center classes).
