We will focus on a simple Tai Chi Form and learn foundational Tai Chi movements. Tai Chi is a low-impact, slow and meditative practice that is easy on the joints while improving balance, coordination, and body awareness. Regular practice has been shown to help reduce the risk of falls and support overall health, making it especially beneficial as we age — though people of all ages can enjoy and benefit from Tai Chi. Each class will begin with a short Qigong meditation to relax the body and calm the mind, followed by guided Tai Chi practice. No class June 30 and July 7. This program is not eligible for a Fitness Member rate.
