YOUTH LEAGUES

2026 Summer Youth Basketball League Girls and boys in grades 3 through 8 can get in the game with our summer league! The league consists of two weeks of practice followed by seven games with an emphasis on game play, participation and fun. Grades are based on the previous 2025-2026 school year.

REGISTRATION & LEAGUE INFORMATION ƒ Registration Begins: March 16 at 9:00am

TEAM ASSIGNMENT NOTE Teams are created according to the following criteria: 1. School attended 2. Grade 3. Mutual Friend Request* 4. Balance of Gender 5. Roster Size 6. Date Registered (only if roster sizes grow too large) *A non-mutual friend request or coach request will not be guaranteed. In general, our goal is to keep players from the same school on the same team. Should enrollment numbers and roster maximums not accommodate this, schools may be split or combined to form a team. Team maximums are based on enrollment numbers at the time of the registration deadline. Returning players are not guaranteed the same team from season to season or year to year. Grade levels may be combined based on enrollment numbers at time of registration deadline. A $5 service fee is assessed for each cancellation request. No refunds will be given once the games begin.

ƒ Registration Deadline: May 18 ƒ Practices Begin: Week of June 3 ƒ Games Begin: June 17 ƒ Each season new teams are formed and grouped as specified below. ƒ Returning players are not guaranteed the same team from season to season. ƒ Leagues may be combined or split by gender depending on enrollment numbers at the registration deadline. ƒ League Cancellation Policy: All cancellation requests received prior to the first game will be assessed a $5 service fee. No refunds issued once games begin. GAME INFORMATION ƒ Teams will practice the first two Wednesday evenings, then will play a game each Wednesday evening for the remaining weeks of the season. ƒ All practices and games are held at the Cathy Mahoney Recreation Center, 4500 Belmont Road between the hours of 6:30-9:30pm. ƒ In general, our goal is to keep players from the same school on the same team. Should enrollment numbers and roster maximums not accommodate this, schools may be split or combined to form a team. Team maximums are based on enrollment numbers at the time of the registration deadline. Grade levels or gender-based teams may also be combined based on enrollment numbers.
