2026 Summer Men’s Basketball League

Get ready for another summer of sand volleyball at McCollum Park! Two divisions offer competitive and recreational play for adults age 18 and older. The competitive leagues play with officials. The recreational leagues play without officials and players make calls on the honor system. The format for this co-ed league will be 6 vs. 6. This co-ed league requires minimum of three females on the court at all times. Games are held between 6:30 and 10:30pm. Team rosters may have up to 20 players. LEAGUE INFORMATION ƒ Registration Begins: March 16 at 9:00am ƒ Registration Deadline: May 18 ƒ League play for this 10-game regular season is tentatively scheduled to begin the first week of June. Teams may register online at dgparks.org on a first come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. ƒ Register as soon as possible to reserve your spot. ƒ Full league fees are due upon registration. No down payments are accepted. ƒ All teams will pay the team fee upon registration. ƒ Teams with rosters comprised of 60% Downers Grove residents or are employed in Downers Grove will be given a $100 refund after the first game takes place. ƒ Rosters will be submitted through an online form. Details will be sent after teams are registered. ƒ Individuals wishing to sign up as a free agent should sign up at www.teamsideline.com/dgparks. The Men’s Basketball League is for players who want to participate in a traditional open-paced league. Each team plays at least 10 games on Monday or Tuesday nights. A single-elimination playoff follows the regular season for the top seeds in each league. League play is governed by I.H.S.A. rules and regulations with local exceptions adopted. REGISTRATION INFORMATION ƒ Registration Begins: March 16 at 9:00am ƒ Registration Deadline: May 4 ƒ Full league fees are due upon registration. No down payments are accepted. ƒ Rosters will be submitted through an online form. Details will be sent after teams are registered. ƒ Teams who provide full rosters with 60% of team members who pay taxes to the Park District or are employed in Downers Grove will be refunded $100 after the first game is played. ƒ Teams may register online at dgparks.org on a first come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. ƒ Individuals wishing to sign up as a free agent should sign up at teamsideline.com/dgparks.org.
