PROGRAM
Nature Programs
Families & Mixed Ages
Our Outdoor Program Goal To help foster an immersive experience that nurtures a deep appreciation for nature, our nature programs, unless otherwise noted, take place at least partially (and often entirely) outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, programs will be moved inside depending on available space. Always dress in appropriate clothing and shoe wear to participate in outside conditions, which may include light rain, snow, mud, bugs, extreme heat, extreme cold and other outdoor variables. Please reach out to the William F. Sherman Jr. Interpretive Center, the nature center at Lyman Woods, for any questions.
Ducks & Donuts Join us for a fun and refreshing hike down to our wetland areas to explore for ducks and other wetland birds while munching on delicious donuts and other refreshments. Our instructor will share birding tips and fascinating facts along the way. Waders and binoculars available upon request. Please register everyone attending. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Children under 2 years old may attend for free.
