Snowball Slam 3v3 Basketball Tournament Get ready to heat up the winter chill with the Snowball Slam 3v3 Tournament! This January, join us for a high-energy basketball event where teams of three battle it out on the court for ultimate bragging rights and awesome prizes. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a weekend warrior, this tournament promises fierce competition, thrilling games, and plenty of fun. Country in the Park

Celebrate spring and explore history at Country in the Park, part of the annual Downers Grove Founders Day celebration sponsored by The Grove Foundation. This family-friendly event features visits with farm animals, 1850’s pioneer-era games and engaging activities for all ages. Inviting all crafters! We invite you to join us at Country in the Park to show off and sell your handicrafts in Wandschnieder Park. All work must be original and handmade by the vendor. All spaces (8x10) are $12 and include one table and 2 chairs. Spaces have a high possibility of being in the direct sun—tents are recommended (8x10). “The Big Chill” Pickleball Tournament New! Join us for an exhilarating evening of fast-paced action at our first indoor pickleball tournament, The Big Chill! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to the game, this special event promises to have thrilling matches, friendly competition, and an unforgettable experience for all. All games will be played as doubles. Players must include their pickleball player rating with their registration as well as their partner’s rating. Earth Week Volunteer Day Celebrate Earth Week with the Downers Grove Park District and beautify McCollum Park for spring! Volunteers will help prepare the park for the season by mulching trees, picking up sticks and debris, and by removing trash at each location. Gloves, tools and staff assistance will be provided. Please dress for the weather and to get messy. All volunteers will receive light snacks and a reusable water bottle to take home. Golf Programs

Winter Golf Belmont Golf Club stays open until the snow falls in the winter and reopens as early as possible in the spring. Hours are dependent on the weather. Reserve your tee time up to seven days in advance by calling 630.963.1306 or online at belmontgolfclub.org. If tee times are available online, the course is open for play.

Driving Range The Driving Range at the Belmont Golf Club offers a range shelter covering 10 of the 24 hitting stations featuring seating, infrared heaters and ceiling fans that provide a comfortable golf experience even on rainy and cold days. The covered stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Target areas are located throughout the range and are prominently marked. The range also features a large practice putting green, sand trap and chipping area. Buckets may be purchased directly at the ball dispenser using a credit card, even when the Clubhouse is closed.

For Youth Junior Spring Golf Camps A continuation of our popular summer and fall camps, Spring Junior Golf Camps are designed to prepare your young golfers for the upcoming season while learning solid fundamentals with an emphasis on golf technique and swing mechanics. Taught in our heated and covered driving range shelter at Belmont Golf Club and instructed by our Belmont Certified Professional Staff. Please bring your clubs if your junior has access to a set. Loaner clubs are limited. Permanent Tee Times The Belmont Golf Club offers 6 months of reserved tee times on Sunday mornings. Fees are just $125 per foursome ($31.25 per player). The 2026 season runs April 12 to Sept. 26. Permanent tee times begin at 6:00am and continue through 10:00am. Complete foursomes are required to obtain a permanent tee time. Players are responsible for payment of their green fees each week. A priority registration process for our 2026 season permanent tee time holders takes place in February. Open tee times become available on a first come, first-served basis beginning in March. To obtain a permanent tee time, stop by the Clubhouse after March 1. Golf Lessons Improve your skills with lessons from our certified golf professionals, Tom Olms, Jim Festle, and John O'Brien. Golf Clinics Belmont Golf Club is offering a series of golf clinics designed to take your game to the next level. Participants can focus on key areas such as increasing speed and distance, refining putting techniques, and strengthening the short game. GOLF For Adults Group Golf Lessons

Clubhouse Rentals Host your next event with us! Clubhouse rentals are available from November through March. The newly renovated Dan A. Cermak Clubhouse at the Belmont Golf Club offers a park-like setting and a scenic panora ma for the perfect off-season social gathering, group meeting, corporate function or holiday party! Hosts can choose their own caterer; cash bar service is available. Clubhouse can accommodate up to 65 people. Rental Fee: $150 per hour with a 3-hour minimum

Have you been looking to pick up the game of golf, but feel you can use some pointers and advice? Taught by our certified golf professionals, group golf lessons are a great way to familiarize yourself with or get reacquainted with the game! Topics include grip, stance, swing, club selection, ball striking and basic etiquette and rules. Lessons can accommodate golfers of all levels and abilities. Fitness for Pickleball Workshop

NeuroFIT Increasing amount of research seems to be finding that exercise may be particularly helpful for people with neurological conditions, with benefits seen in movement, balance, and even cognition. The focus of this exercise class is to improve mobility of individuals with Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. This class is led by a Parkinson’s fitness specialist and provides safe strengthening exercises with an emphasis on postural awareness, breathing, balance, and rhythmical movement. These exercises will focus on moving safely while seated or standing, and we will use a variety of equipment including light weights and bands to increase strength and range of motion. 4500 Fitness Members who hold an active membership will receive a discounted fee when added to the cart. It’s scientifically proven that regular Tai Chi practice can help to improve balance, coordination and prevent falls and health problems in older adults. But it’s not only for elderly, everyone can benefit from this practice. Tai Chi is the most growing practice around the world and is therapeutic exercise for many chronic health conditions. This 6-week program will begin with the basics of Tai Chi Form. This is an excellent introduction to Tai Chi, suitable for beginners.
