Families & Mixed Ages Nature Cookie Decorating Need a fun activity for the family on a cold wintery day? Come to Lyman Woods for a drop-in nature inspired cookie decorating party! Whoever said the holiday fun had to end with the new year? Each person will have ten large, sugar cookies to decorate! You are welcome to enjoy your delicious treats here with milk or hot chocolate or savor them at home. Children under the age of 2 do not need to register but are welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please register everyone attending. Animal Encounters Join us at Lyman Woods to meet and greet our nature center’s special residents. Help feed our animal friends and learn about turtles, snakes, lizards and more! Please register everyone attending. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. From youth program assistants, office helpers, trail restoration, animal care, and garden volunteers, we have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups looking to help us in our mission to conserve natural areas and to educate the public about nature.
