Christopher Robin’s Expedition to the North Pole New! Bundle up for an outdoor adventure to the top of the world! Where exactly is the North Pole? Let’s find out together. We’ll prepare with Winnie the Pooh and his friends to gather all the supplies and skills we’ll need to head to the world’s most frozen zones to at last discover the North Pole, learning about arctic wildlife and challenges along the way! This is a youth-only, drop-off program. Age: 4-12 Min/Max: 5/30 Fee: $15 William F Sherman Jr Interpretive Center - Lyman Woods Class # Date Day Time 1500P15-01 1/24 SA 9:00-11:00am Tigger’s Forest Breakfast New! Tigger’s always bouncing and ready for the next adventure, but is a bit of a picky eater! Let’s help him find something he likes to eat from the forest. We’ll take a fun hike on the trails to discover different foods and delicacies and see which one’s fit Tigger’s tastes. At the end, we’ll return to the nature center for a tasty breakfast of eggs, pancakes, sausages, mixed fruit and other yummy items to celebrate the courage to try new things! Children must be accompanied by a paid, registered adult. Please register everyone 2 and older attending. Children under the age of 2 do not need to register but may attend. Rabbit’s Spring Greens Garden Party & Tea New! Rabbit’s ready to open the garden gate and give you a special tour of his garden and the scrumptious produce inside! We’ll explore the garden, help Rabbit gather some various spring greens and other treats from the ground and make a splendid salad smorgasbord. After we’ve had our yummy lunch, then we’ll enjoy some hot teas and sweet cakes. Children must be accompanied by a paid, registered adult. Please register everyone 2 and older attending. Children under the age of 2 do not need to register but may attend. Age: 2+ Min/Max: 10/30 Fee: $20 William F Sherman Jr Interpretive Center - Lyman Woods Class # Date Day Time 1500P08-01 4/25 SA 11:00am- 1:00pm Piglet’s Surrounded By Water New! Oh no! Spring rains are falling, and Piglet has gotten stuck in a flood! Help us build some tiny homemade boats and rafts that we can float out to Piglet so we can pull him back in. Bring waterproof shoes (or borrow a pair of our waders) and your watercraft engineering skills! We’ll explore some of our streams and waterways on our way to the pond to rescue Piglet and learn about wetland habitats along the way. This is a drop off, youth-only program.
