MAIN STREET CEMETERY FLASHLIGHT TOUR See the Main Street Cemetery in a spookier light! With a flashlight in hand, learn about the happy and tragic lives of the Downers Grove residents who are buried there and some local ghost stories. This program meets at the cemetery. Please dress for the weather. Children under 16 must register and be accompanied by a registered adult. VETERANS DAY BREAKFAST NEW! Celebrate Veterans Day with a special Veterans Day breakfast! Join us at the Lincoln Center to learn more about Downers Grove’s response to calls to military service and spend real time talking to veterans about their experiences serving our country as we thank them for their service. Breakfast is free to veterans. Please sign up everyone attending. All children 4 and older must be registered with a registered adult. Children under 4 are welcome with a registered adult. Onsite GROUP PROGRAMS Bring your group to the Downers Grove Museum! Programs and tours are 1-1.5 hour in length and can be tailored for adult and kid groups. Call 630.963.1309 for details and to book your program or tour today! Group programs are $6 a person with a minimum of 5 people. Group TOURS During your guided tour, you’ll visit the foot print of the Blodgett family cabin, discuss the 1850s, visit the Pioneer Blodgett House, and learn about the 1890s inside of the Victorian Blodgett House. SCHOOL TOURS: $60 per class per 1-1.5 hour tour GROUP TOURS: $35 for up to 10 people
