EXTREME NATURE Have you ever wondered why we have sandstorms, or what life is like on the top of the world? Come join us at Lyman Woods as we learn all about extreme nature, extreme weather and natural disasters! In this class, participants will complete experiments and activities to simulate and explore the science behind animal swarms, extreme heights and more! This is a drop-off, youth-only program. Tap into your primal survival instincts with our new program on ancient hunting practices! We’ll learn the basics of tracking animals, setting simple traps, and practice throwing atl atls (the same kind of spears ancient hunters used) at homemade prehistoric animal targets. End the class with a fun campfire with treats and s’mores! This is a drop-off, youth-only program. We’ll have a fun campfire dinner with s’mores, explore the nighttime woods, do some scavenger hunts, play nature- inspired games, do geocaching and focus each night on a special featured environmental topic or activity. This is a drop-off, teen-only program. YOUTH/TEENS WILDNIGHTOUT

Spend your Saturday night cooking dinner around the campfire, hitting the trails and searching for nocturnal animals! End the evening with an indoor project. Hey parents, want a night alone? This is a perfect program to treat yourselves to a date night, run errands or just have some down time! This 3-hour long, drop-off program is great for parent date nights, running errands or even for some parent down time at home!
