2024 SUMMERYOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE

JERSEY INFORMATION If your player did not participate in the Fall 2023 or Winter 2024 season, a jersey will need to be purchased and the jersey fee will automatically be added to your registration fee upon enrollment. Players will receive their jersey from their head coach by their first scheduled game.

Girls and boys in grades 3 through 8 can get in the game with our summer league! The league consists of two weeks of practice followed by eight games with an emphasis on game play, participation and fun. TEAM ASSIGNMENT NOTE New teams are created each season according to the following criteria: 1. School attended 2. Grade (based on the previous 2023-2024 school year) 3. Mutual Friend Request* 4. Balance of Gender 5. Roster Size *A non-mutual friend request or coach request will not be guaranteed. In general, our goal is to keep players from the same school on the same team. Should enrollment numbers and roster maximums not accommodate this practice, schools may be combined to form teams. Team maximums are based on enrollment numbers at the time of the registration deadline. Leagues may be combined or split by gender depending on enrollment numbers at the registration deadline. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Registration Begins: March 18 Registration Deadline: May 6 Each season new teams are formed and grouped as specified below. PRACTICE & GAME INFORMATION Practices Begin: June 5 Games Begin: June 26

Teams will practice the first two Wednesday evenings, then will play a game each Wednesday evening for the remaining weeks of the season. No games will take place on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. All practices and games are held at the Recreation Center, 4500 Belmont Road between the hours of 6:30 - 9:30pm.
