YOUTH LEAGUES

NFL FALLYOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE Learn the basics of the game in this 6 v 6 league on a 30 x 70 football field. Players receive a NFL logo jersey and a flag belt. Games will be played on Sundays and there will be one practice during the week. The Park District will determine practice and game sites at a later date. This league is both for girls and boys who enjoy the game of football. Refunds are not available once teams have been formed and finalized. This program runs with volunteer coaches. If interested in coaching, please complete a Volunteer Coaches form available on our website at dgparks.org/youth-flag-football.

TEAM ASSIGNMENT NOTE Teams are created according to the following criteria: 1. School attended 2. Grade 3. Mutual Friend Request* 4. Balance of Gender 5. Roster Size *A non-mutual friend request or coach request will not be guaranteed. In general, our goal is to keep players from the same school on the same team. Should enrollment numbers and roster maximums not accommodate this, schools may be split or combined to form a team. Team maximums are based on enrollment numbers at the time of the registration deadline. Returning players are not guaranteed the same team from season to season or year to year. Grade levels may be combined based on enrollment numbers at time of registration deadline. A $5 cancellation fee will be assessed for requests received after the registration deadline. No refunds will be given once the games begin.

NFL FLAG FOOTBALL COMBINE DAY Kick off the Fall Flag Football season and test your skills at the Downers Grove Park District’s Flag Football Combine Day! Players will run through different drills and test their skills, just like the pros! Grade levels will be assigned a one-hour timeslot to complete their Combine Day drills (those timeslots will be emailed to all registered participants before Aug. 4). The grade level timeslots will run youngest to oldest beginning at 10:00am. Fall Youth Flag Football league participants enrolled by the June 28 registration deadline will receive a $10 discount on the registration fee for Combine Day.
