ALL STAR SPORTST-BALL Develop basic baseball skills such as hitting, fielding, throwing, catching and running the bases. Fun drills and games are played each week. Please bring your own glove. The spring classes held at McCollum Park meet near the south end of the park, south of the diamonds and behind the DGPD maintenance building. Our top notch baseball trainers will cover the importance of proper throwing mechanics, rotational hitting, bunting, fielding, pitching and catching. Speed and agility will be added to increase core strength and mobility for added bat speed, range in the field and linear speed for base running. In-game strategies will be taught to increase each players’ overall knowledge. This class meets near the south end of McCollum Park, south of the diamonds and behind the DGPD maintenance building.
