ICE SKATING

LEARNTOPLAYHOCKEY Seven Bridges Learn to Play Hockey programs are designed around USA Hockey’s ADM model, which creates a relaxed learning environment for participants to learn the fundamental skills of skating for ice hockey. The non-competitive atmosphere not only makes a child’s first experience with skating fun but also creates an environment in which they can excel. The program operates under the premise that if a player’s introduction to the sport is encouraging, they will develop a lifetime love of the game. Equipment required: Hockey helmet, hockey gloves (recommended).

LITTLE HOCKEY1-3: AGES 3TO 5 These classes are designed to help children develop the ABCs of movement - Agility, Balance, Coordination, and speed. All classes are taught by incorporating the introduction and development of skills through professional instruction in a fun, safe and positive environment.

BEGINNERHOCKEY1 & 2: AGES 6TO 12 These levels teach the fundamentals of skating and provide the best foundation for figure skating and hockey. Skaters will learn and master forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers and turns. All classes are well-structured with a focus on proper skill development and mastery through professional instruction in a fun, safe, social and positive environment.
