LITTLEVETERINARIAN SCHOOL - CAT Students will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and perform a whiskers-to-tail exam on their newly “adopted” plush cat. These future veterinarians will learn about animal body language, maintaining a healthy environment such as proper litterbox placement, create a cat toy, and design a vet clinic. Age: 6-10 R/NR: $193/$223 Location: Lincoln Center Instructor: Little Medical School Class # Date Day Time 1270L01-01 1/23 - 2/27 TU 4:15-5:15pm After “adopting” their own plush baby, students will role- play the key responsibilities of a pediatrician and learn how to perform a head-to-toe exam on a newborn. These future pediatricians will learn about diapering, diaper rash, bottling, burping, the infant Heimlich maneuver, childhood immunizations, and safe sleeping. Age: 6-10 R/NR: $200/$230 Location: Lincoln Center Instructor: Little Medical School Class # Date Day Time 2270L03-01 4/23 - 5/28 TU 6:45-7:45pm LITTLE DOCTOR SCHOOL II Students will role-play the key staff functions performed at a veterinary office and how to keep their “adopted” plush puppy healthy. These future veterinarians will explore digestion, the different parts of the canine eye, animal body language and how X-rays are used to diagnose and treat common illnesses. LITTLE DOCTOR SCHOOL SPRING BREAK CAMP Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a doctor and learn about vital organs in the human body. These future doctors will learn how to use a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff and reflex hammer. They will practice administering first aid, learn how pharmacists play a role in administering medications and more! Age: 6-10 R/NR: $272/$302 Location: Lincoln Center Instructor: Little Medical School Class # Date Day Time 1270L05-01 3/25 - 3/28 M-TH 1:00-4:00pm SLIMETIME! NEW! Get ready for a night of gooey, messy fun! Each slime class will be packed with interactive and entertaining themed activities. At the end of the night, your child will leave with their own batch of slime and the title of Slime Master!
