HONORING OUR HEROES: A VETERAN’S DAY BRUNCH AND POP-UP EXHIBIT NEW! Join us at the Lincoln Center to honor our veterans with a special Veteran’s Day brunch and pop-up exhibit on our local military history and veterans. Please feel free to bring any mementos to add to our temporary exhibit and to celebrate during brunch. Drop in anytime between 10:30am and 12:30pm to enjoy brunch and check out the exhibit. Brunch is free to veterans. Veterans and their plus one should email museum@dgparks.org to RSVP and to provide proof of service such as military or VA card, etc. Please sign up all others attending online. All children 4 and older must be registered with a registered adult. Children under 4 are welcome with a registered adult. A craft that has been around for over a thousand years symbolizing the changing of the seasons, fertility, honor, victory and everlasting life. Get ready for the holidays with a program full of family fun and bring home a holiday door decoration. Each sign-up provides for one wreath. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For Youth AMERICAN GIRL DOLL FALL FEST

Bring your American Girl doll or any other similar sized doll to make fun crafts and play fun games to celebrate the fall. We’ll take a look at how the beginning of fall was celebrated in the past and participate in fun activities relating to its beginnings.

AMERICAN GIRL DOLL THANKSGIVING PARTY

Thanksgiving brings us together to celebrate with our friends and families, so bring along an American Girl and come celebrate Thanksgiving with us here at the Downers Grove Museum. We’ll play fun holiday games and make a fun Thanksgiving craft celebrating our historic Thanksgiving traditions.

Merry & Bright A VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS SATURDAY, DEC. 12 ∞ 3-6PM ∞ FREE ∞ DOWNERS GROVE MUSEUM Get in the holiday spirit here at the Downers Grove Museum! We invite you and your whole family to learn about Victorian Christmas traditions, tour the holiday decorated Blodgett houses, and visit with Santa. Stroll the

park on a luminary walk, view holiday decorated trees and warm up around a campfire as you listen to Victorian era carolers. No registration required.
