BALLET Young dancers will begin to learn the basics of dance and ballet in a fun and engaging environment! Dancers will become familiar with beginning ballet terminology and position while working on following directions, coordination and body awareness. No class July 5. Age: 6-8 R/NR: $120/$150 Location: Lincoln Center Class # Date Day Time 3162A25-01 6/14 - 8/9 SA 10:45-11:30am INTERMEDIATE BALLET In this intermediate-level ballet class, dancers will build upon ballet techniques developed in Ballet I, as well as strengthen techniques needed for a solid, well-rounded dance foundation. Must have previous ballet experience. Age: 8-16 R/NR: $135/$165 Location: Lincoln Center Class # Date Day Time 3162A09-01 6/16 - 8/4 M 6:20-7:20pm JAZZ/HIP HOP I Hip hop is a high-energy style of dance! Learn classic and contemporary hip hop moves, while focusing on developing a sense of rhythm through hip hop choreography. Dancers will improve strength, balance and flexibility. Age: 7-10 R/NR: $120/$150 Location: Lincoln Center Class # Date Day Time 3162A08-01 6/17 - 8/5 TU 6:30-7:15pm JAZZ/HIP HOP II Jazz and Hip Hop are both high-energy and upbeat styles of dance! Dancers will strengthen jazz techniques including jazz turns, jumps and isolations, and learn classic and contemporary hip hop moves. Dancers will improve strength, balance, rhythm and flexibility. INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED JAZZ Jazz is an energetic and upbeat style of dance! Dancers learn basic jazz techniques including jazz turns, jumps and isolations. Dancers learn to match movement to fun music, both classic and contemporary. Age: 10-16 R/NR: $120/$150 Location: Lincoln Center Class # Date Day Time 3162A11-01 6/18 - 8/6 W 5:30-6:30pm HIP HOP Hip hop is a high-energy style of dance!
