PRE-HIP HOP This class introduces dancers to basic hip hop techniques. In addition, dancers will work on following directions in a group, developing a sense of rhythm and strength. Our Hula classes, taught by Honolulu native Shasta Hud, are a wonderful way for children to improve coordination, express themselves creatively through movement, and learn about Hawaiian culture! The intermediate class is intended for students who have previously taken a Hula for Kids class, while the Beginner class is suitable for anyone! Both class will learn routines as they explore the traditions, mythology and meaning behind the dances. ADULT SWING DANCE Swing Dance, also known as Jitterbug and or East Coast Swing, is a very popular and versatile dance! This class will teach you how to dance swing patterns with ease and confidence using basic lead and follow techniques. This class is open to both couples and singles; fee is per person.
