LITTLE EXPLORERS: TODDLER INDEPENDENCE CLASS If your little one is ready to explore their independence, try this transitional class! Building on First Steps, children will explore curiosity, develop listening, follow directions, and enhance motor skills. Through structured and unstructured play, we’ll learn to follow directions, develop listening skills, and improve gross and fine motor skills. Children may enroll in more than one class per week. Wear gym shoes and comfortable clothing that can get messy! Classes are designed for participation without a caregiver; we are prepared to work through separation anxiety, but struggling children might be recommended to try First Steps instead. We focus on life skills and classroom-readiness, including identifying feelings, interacting with peers, following rules, making choices, and problem-solving. Wear gym shoes and comfortable clothing that is OK to get messy! This class is designed for participation without a caregiver, and is meant for children who can separate easily from their caregiver. Discovery Early Childhood Series Our Discovery Early Childhood Series helps ease little ones into a structured preschool environment. Classes are held in the same location with consistent staff, creating a familiar and supportive space for growth.

Children do not need to be potty-trained, but staff cannot assist with bathroom needs or diaper changes (undressing, wiping, placing on toilet, etc.). A trusted adult must be available to change soiled diapers/ training pants or take the child to the bathroom if in the process of potty-training.

FIRST STEPS: YOU & YOUR TODDLER Embark on a journey together with your little one! First Steps is a playgroup designed for children to participate alongside a trusted adult caregiver. Ease into a classroom setting and routine with structured and unstructured play ranging from sensory and language activities to fine and gross motor play. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Both adults and children should wear gym shoes and comfortable clothing that can get messy. Fee includes one adult and one child; please register only the child.
