INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED JAZZ Jazz is an energetic and upbeat style of dance! Dancers learn basic jazz techniques including jazz turns, jumps and isolations. Learn to match movement to fun music, both classic and contemporary. No class March 31. Learn classic and contemporary hip hop moves, while focusing on developing a sense of rhythm through hip hop choreography. Dancers will improve strength, balance and flexibility. No class March 31. Age: 9-18 R/NR: $335/$365 Location: Lincoln Center Class # Date Day Time 1162A21-01 1/16 - 5/22 TH 7:15-8:00pm HULA Our Hula classes, taught by Honolulu native Shasta Hud, are a wonderful way for children to improve coordination, express themselves creatively through movement, and learn about Hawaiian culture! The intermediate class is intended for students who have previously taken a Hula for Kids class, while the Beginner class is suitable for anyone! No class April 1. Dance Kids USA The following classes are taught by and under the direction of Michelle Dawson of Dance Kids USA. PARENT-TOT DANCE Interact with other parents and tots through song and dance! Develop balance, increase body awareness, improve listening and gross motor skills and of course, have fun! Fee includes parent and one child; please register the child attending. An adult caregiver must accompany each child. No class April 3, 4, 18 and May 2.
