Registration Tips To help your registration process run smoothly, be sure you can access your account before the registration day! If you need assistance with your account, please contact us at 630.960.7500 or regi_staff@dgparks.org org, Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. ƒ Register early to secure spots ƒ Make sure your online account login is working ƒ Check your account information for accuracy ƒ Make sure all family members are listed in your account prior to the initial day of registration to avoid a delay in registration. Waitlists Many programs have a limited number of waitlist spots once a class is full. If you see “FULL’ when registering online, it means both the class and its waitlist have reached capacity. Please note families will only be contacted if a spot becomes available. NEW! Automated Waitlist Offer Notification Process We’re introducing an automated notification system to make the waitlist process easier and faster for everyone. automatically emails the next person on the waitlist (in order) with an enrollment offer. Each person has 48 hours to accept or decline the offer. To manage the offer, log into your online account, visit the My Pending Enrollments page from the My Account drop-down menu, or call us at 630.960.7500 (Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm). Reminder emails are sent during the 48 hours. If no response, the offer defaults to decline and the next person on the waitlist will be notified of the opening. Tip: Manage your waitlist enrollments on the My Pending Enrollments page, where you can accept or reject offers and cancel waitlisted spots before they’re offered. What you need to know ƒ Enrollment offers are sent only to your primary household email, so please make sure your account has an up-to-date email address. ƒ Not all programs use automated waitlists. Families may be contacted either through the automated notification system or directly by Registration Staff, depending on the program. Tip: Double-check your household email to ensure you don’t miss an enrollment opportunity. Age Requirements Appropriate age levels are established to ensure a rewarding experience for all. Those who do not meet the age criteria of a class may be considered on a case by-case basis beginning the first day of non-resident registration. Age exception requests can be submitted through our online form available at dgparks.org. Age exceptions will not be considered for Lincoln Learning Preschool or NaturePlay School students who must be age appropriate by Sept. 1. Resident Status To qualify as a Resident account, the household address must fall within the Park District tax base, and proof of residency or property ownership. Please note: some Downers Grove addresses are outside the Park District tax boundaries and are considered Non-Resident. Non-residents of the Park District who pay into School Districts 58 and/or 99 may be eligible for resident fees if the program utilizes a school facility. ƒ Non-residents of the Park District who hold an active annual Fitness Membership at 4500 Fitness may register for Premier Fitness Classes during the resident registration period via all registration methods ƒ You can self-cancel most programs through your online account by logging in and clicking on “My Account” up to 8 days prior to the begin date. You will receive a check within 7-10 business days. Did You Know? ƒ

Recreation Refund Policy Refund requests can be submitted by completing a Refund Request Form or self-canceling through your online account. Refund policies vary depending on the program.
