FIT FEST Save the Date!

Teen Strength Lab New! Become stronger, faster, and more confident! This class is designed for teens who want to build strength, improve sports performance, and learn proper workout techniques in a fun, supportive space. Perfect for athletes or anyone ready to level up! Each week will include a combination of guided workouts and short educational discussions. Workouts include energizing warm-ups, expert coaching with form correction, and proper cool-downs. Sessions are progressive, building on skills learned the previous week. Participants ages 12 to 13 must have a parent present in the facility. ƒ Week 1: Getting Started - Safety, equipment, & intro to resistance training ƒ Week 2: Mastering the 7 - Push, pull, hinge squat, locomotion, rotate/anti-rotate ƒ Week 3: Fueling Performance - Nutrition & recovery ƒ Week 4: Building a Balance Program - Importance of rest and stretch in training plans ƒ Week 5: Measuring Success - Goal setting & tracking progress ƒ Week 6: Building Confidence - Mental health, gym independence & final review Age: 12-15 Min/Max: 3/8 FM/R/NR: $50/$60/$90 Location: Cathy Mahoney Recreation Center Instructor: Vicki Klimkiewicz Class # Date Day Time 1301J60-01 1/8 - 2/12 TH 6:15- 7:00pm 1301J60-02 4/16 - 5/21 TH 6:15-7:00pm
