Country in the Park

Celebrate spring and explore history at Country in the Park, part of the annual Downers Grove Founders Day celebration sponsored by The Grove Foundation. This family-friendly event features visits with farm animals, 1850’s pioneer-era games and engaging activities for all ages. Inviting all crafters! We invite you to join us at Country in the Park to show off and sell your handicrafts in Wandschnieder Park. All work must be original and handmade by the vendor. All spaces (8x10) are $12 and include one table and 2 chairs. Spaces have a high possibility of being in the direct sun—tents are recommended (8x10). Emerald City Parent/Child Dance

New! Spend an unforgettable evening with your child at our “Emerald City” themed dance! Enjoy sweet treats, music, and fun activities—all while experiencing the wonders and whimsy of the Emerald City. During the event, strike a pose in our photo booth for a keepsake to remember the night! Price is per person; everyone attending must be registered. An adult must stay to supervise their child(ren).
