YOGA FOR BACK PAIN Yoga for Back Pain may be just the thing you have been looking for! This class works through movements to prevent and help minor or chronic back pain. Learn gentle poses that will strengthen your back, reduce pain, and prevent further injury. Stabilize your lower back with movement and postural correction, as well as release tension in the muscles. Please note that this program is not eligible for a Fitness Member rate. Yoga combines the mind, body and soul to help you heal and let go of stress. You will practice gentle yoga poses, breathing techniques and other stress reduction techniques to bring up an intense feeling of calm and relaxation. YOGA IN THE WOODS The perfect fall activity for an afternoon de-stressor. Yoga in the Woods is a mini-series geared toward yoga in nature. Please bring a mat with you. Yoga will take place on a grass field. Registered participants will be notified the day of if inclement weather prevents class from taking place.
