FAMILY POTTERY Families of all shapes and sizes are invited to explore the world of clay! Learn basic hand building techniques while creating fun ceramic pieces as a family. All projects will be glazed, kiln-fired and sent home on the last day of the class. Please note: attendance at each class is important for ensuring you finish all projects. Working with clay can get messy, so please dress accordingly! Fee is per person; please register each family member attending. No class April 24. DIGITAL SLR PHOTOGRAPHY - BEGINNER NEW! Interested in learning about photography? Start with the basics to build a solid foundation! In this class, you’ll learn about your camera modes, aperture, shutter speed, depth of field, close-up flower photo, methods of focus and ISO, as well as taking pictures in manual mode. At the end of this class you will have an understanding of your camera and gear so you can use them to their fullest potential. Participants must bring either a digital SLR (removable lens) camera or a 35mm camera that will work in manual mode. Students must supply and develop own film; we will not develop film as part of class. Welcome all beginners to Adobe Photoshop CC (Cloud)! You will learn how to clean up your images, whether too bright or too dark. Fix the color of your photos, then get into some creative techniques like blurring and partial black and white images. Work with your actual photos, not samples. We cover the tool bar and all of its functions, plus the following topics: Color Correction, Cropping & Straighten, Brightness & Contrast, Selecting parts of the image, Saving with Different File Types, Add Text and the Tool Bar.
