ZOOM SPANISH FOR ADULTS VIRTUAL CLASS! Have you ever wanted to learn a foreign language, but never had the opportunity? Now is the time! Stay connected and learn Spanish from the comfort and convenience of your own home via the interactive Zoom platform! In this class you will learn conversational Spanish that you can immediately begin using. The class will be tailored to the needs of the students enrolled. Just For Fun BEGINNER SOURDOUGH BREAD MAKING NEW! Let’s demystify the sourdough bread making process and give you the confidence to start baking bread at home! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to maintain a sourdough starter and mix, shape, score and bake a rustic sourdough bread. Take-home goodies include recipes and resources for at home sourdough baking, dried sourdough starter, a fresh baked sourdough loaf and dough for you to bake at home the next day. Please dress for baking! In class we’ll also snack on fresh baked sourdough bread and sourdough chocolate chip cookies. The January 29 class will be a gluten-free sourdough making class. Participants with food allergies may be exposed to allergens. Document your life and slow it dowwwn through words, images, and a combination of the two. You don’t have to think of yourself as a writer or artist! But even if you do, you’ll still find inspiration here to help you grow. In each session you’ll learn about a creative technique and apply it to the blank journal you’ll receive on day one. Basic art supplies (paint, markers, etc.) will be available for you to use, but feel free to bring any additional materials you like. Get ready to de-stress, reflect, and create the stories only you can tell! Fee includes instruction, a mixed media sketchbook, and art supplies to use during class. AARP TAX ASSISTANCE AARP Tax Assistance will once again take place at Lincoln Center in the Winter 2025. Appointments will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 6 to April 10 at the Lincoln Center (935 Maple Avenue).
