TAI CHI NEW! Tai Chi is a low-impact, slow-motion moving meditation that doesn’t put any pressure on the joints. Regular Tai Chi practice is proven to improve balance, coordination and prevent falls and health problems in older adults. But it’s not only for elderly, everyone can benefit from this practice. This 6-week program will begin with the basics of Tai Chi Form. This is an excellent introduction to Tai Chi, suitable for beginners. We will practice Qigong meditation in the beginning of each class to relax. Please note: This program is contractual and not eligible for a Fitness Member rate. No class April 1.

YOGA FOR BACK PAIN Yoga for Back Pain may be just the thing you have been looking for! This class works through movements to prevent and help minor or chronic back pain. Learn gentle poses that will strengthen your back, reduce pain, and prevent further injury. Stabilize your lower back with movement and postural correction, as well as release tension in the muscles. Each week we will progress so that you create a lasting yoga practice for back pain relief. Please note that this program is contractual and not eligible for a Fitness Member rate. Yoga combines the mind, body and soul to help you heal and let go of stress. You will practice gentle yoga poses, breathing techniques and other stress reduction techniques to bring up an intense feeling of calm and relaxation. Relax your shoulders and let the stress melt away, you will leave every class feeling good. Each week we will dive deeper into the stress relief yoga practice. YOGA and MIMOSAS NEW! Come join us for a rejuvenating yoga session at the Belmont Golf Club led by a certified Yoga instructor. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned yogi, this special class perfect for all levels.
