CALIFORNIA GOLD RUSH ADVENTURE
NEW! Saddle up for a wilderness adventure into the Old West! Through a mix of staff-guided nature activities and self-guided trail exploration you will take on the story of a local pioneer family and journey through wide open plains and treacherous mountains on your way to California land and gold. Activities will task you with riddles and challenges to complete before you advance to the next leg of your adventure. But choose wisely! While some options will bring you one step closer to California, some could lead to trouble like “quicksand,” “avalanches” and other pioneer setbacks along the trail. At the very end, stake your claim, snag some gold (our special treasure treat bag), and enjoy a hearty lunch, including some delicious cowboy-cookie s’mores, around the campfire. The program’s 4-hour window allows you to start and end your adventure at your own speed, so come early and test how quickly you can finish your travels, or come later and take your time to enjoy the journey at a leisurely pace. Expected time to complete the journey and time for food at the campfire is 1.5 hours. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please register everyone attending. Children under the age of 3 may attend with their family for free.
