Camp Waitlists AUTOMATED WAITLIST OFFER NOTIFICATION PROCESS We introduced an automated notification system in the winter-spring season to make the waitlist process easier and faster for everyone, and will be extending that process to camps.

HOW IT WORKS When a spot opens in a program, the system

automatically emails the next person on the waitlist (in order) with an enrollment offer. Each person has 48 hours to accept or decline the offer. To manage the offer, log into your online account, visit the My Pending Enrollments page from the My Account drop-down menu, or call us at 630.960.7500 (Monday-Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm). Reminder emails are sent during the 48 hours. If no response, the offer defaults to decline and the next person on the waitlist will be notified of the opening. Parent Communication • Parents will receive a “Welcome to Camp” email by May 27, with information including what to wear to camp, what to bring to camp and camp procedures. • Following the initial “Welcome to Camp” email, each camp will be emailed no later than the Friday prior to each session with specific camp information for the upcoming week.

Additional Summer Camp Details Page 12

Camper Information/ Emergency Forms • The Downers Grove Park District uses ePACT for camper information and emergency forms. • Returning families will receive an email to confirm their ePACT account details. • New families will get an email from ePACT to set up an account and complete their camper’s forms. • All forms must be completed/confirmed before camp starts; campers cannot attend without them. Friend Requests • The Downers Grove Park District will not be accepting friend requests for camp groups. • Campers will be split into groups based on enrollment numbers, grade level and age.
